No. Codes are static: the content is encoded directly in the pattern, so they work as long as the destination you encoded still exists.

Which error correction level should I choose?
Medium suits most cases. Choose High if the code will be printed on surfaces that may get scratched or dirty. Higher levels make the code denser, which can be harder to scan at small sizes.
Why does the tool warn about contrast?
Scanners need a clear difference between the dark and light modules. Dark foreground on a light background with a ratio of at least 3:1 is the safest choice.
Which format should I download?
Use SVG for print and anything that must scale without losing sharpness. Use PNG for web pages, documents and chat apps.
